Dr. Sheikh is a visionary educator, founder, and leader in innovative, culturally grounded education.
As the founder of ALIA and co-founder of GEM Academy & Center and GEM School, she has developed accredited academic programs and initiatives that expand access to world languages, leadership development, and experiential learning for students.
With over a decade of experience in education and having traveled to more than 30 countries, Dr. Sheikh designs transformative learning experiences that connect academic knowledge with real-world application. Her work centers on developing confident, globally minded students through civic engagement, cultural literacy, and leadership opportunities.
She is deeply committed to preparing the next generation of students to think critically, lead with purpose, and engage meaningfully in an interconnected world.
