The Civic Youth Leadership Program at GEM empowers young people to become active, engaged citizens and community advocates. We help young people develop their leadership skills, cultivate their passions and support them in becoming informed, responsible citizens.
We offer a variety of programs and services that help young people make a positive impact in their local communities. From community service projects to leadership development workshops, we help young people discover the power to make a difference.

Empowering Future Civic Leaders
The Civic Hub at GEM ensures youth receive recognition for what they have achieved and set them on a trajectory of lifelong civic learning and participation.
Graduates of the Civic Youth Leadership Program will earn a Certificate of Achievement to present to Universities and Congressional Awards.
Students may earn volunteer hours towards the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. We offer a range of volunteer opportunities for young people interested in learning more about civic leadership. Our programs provide youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful civic leaders who make meaningful contributions to their communities.
