At GEM Academy & Center, we strive to provide the highest quality programs and services. We understand that circumstances may arise requiring you to withdraw from a program, and we have established the following refund policy to ensure fairness and clarity:
Note: All refund/withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to admin@gemcenters.org.
- Full Refund:
- Participants who notify us of their withdrawal ≥14 days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund of their payment.

- Partial Refund:
- Participants who notify us of their withdrawal less than 14 days but more than 7 days before the program start date are eligible for a 50% refund of their payment.

- No Refund:
- No refunds will be provided for withdrawals made within 7 days of the start of the program or after the program begins.

- Special Circumstances:
- In cases of medical emergencies, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required to support the request.

- How to Request a Refund:
- To request a refund, please contact our administrative office by emailing admin@gemcenters.org. Include your name, program details, and reason for withdrawal in your communication.
- Confirmation of your refund request will be sent within 2-3 business days.
- Processing Time:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the request.
Note: GEM Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, families will receive a full refund or program credit.

Q: Can I get a refund for a monthly program?
A: Yes, you cancel 14 days before the start of a calendar month. No refunds are given once the month begins.
Q: What about semester programs?
A: Full refund ≥14 days before the semester starts, or 50% refund if cancelled within 14 days of the start date. No refunds once the semester starts, except under special circumstances (as per Gems Refund Policy).
Q: How about camps (Summer/Winter/Fall/Thanksgiving/Spring)?
A: Full refund if canceled ≥14 days before the start date. 50% refund if canceled before 7 days of the start date.. No refunds within 48 hours or once the program has started.
Q: What if GEM cancels a program?
A: You will receive a full refund or program credit.
