Responsibilities:

1. Volunteer Recruitment:
   • Develop and implement strategies to attract volunteers who align with the organization's mission and values.
   • Utilize various channels such as social media, community outreach, and networking events to recruit volunteers.
   • Collaborate with other staff members to identify volunteer needs and roles within the organization.

2. Volunteer Training and Orientation:
   • Develop and conduct orientation sessions for new volunteers to familiarize them with the organization's mission, policies, and procedures.
   • Provide ongoing training and support to volunteers to ensure they are well-equipped to fulfill their roles effectively.
   • Create training materials and resources as needed to support volunteer development.

3. Volunteer Coordination:
   • Match volunteers with suitable roles based on their skills, interests, and availability.
   • Maintain a volunteer schedule/calendar and ensure adequate coverage for all programs and events.
   • Communicate regularly with volunteers to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues.

4. Recognition and Appreciation:
   • Develop and implement recognition programs to acknowledge the contributions of volunteers and foster a culture of appreciation.
   • Organize volunteer appreciation events or activities to express gratitude for their dedication and commitment.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, including contact details, hours worked, and assignments.
   • Generate reports on volunteer activities, participation rates, and impact for internal use and reporting purposes.
